NeuroStation: compute for large estates and neural analytics

When camera counts climb into the hundreds, or neural networks watch dozens of streams, recording appliances give way to purpose built servers. The NeuroStation line is engineered for that load: sustained ingest across many streams, deep archives, and the headroom modules like Neuro Detector and Face Recognition require.

Engineering the deployment

Sized from your actual numbers, not brochure averages

01 · Load calculation

Channels, resolutions and bitrates: the real ingest the server must sustain around the clock.

02 · Storage math

Bitrate × channels × retention, computed honestly, with growth headroom you can audit.

03 · Analytics sizing

The module mix of detection, faces and plates decides the compute the platform needs.

04 · Room readiness

Rack, protected power and cooling for the equipment room, engineered for local conditions.

Chasing Sun sizes the platform from your channel count, retention target and analytics mix, and stands behind the result through commissioning and SLA.

Where the neural networks run

One analytics server can serve the whole estate

Neural analytics are compute hungry, but TRASSIR does not force a GPU into every rack: recording and analysis are separate, so the expensive compute sits where it pays for itself.

Offload analytics

Multiple TRASSIR servers can send video to one NeuroStation for processing, so branch recorders stay lean while detection runs centrally.

GPU offload for recognition

AutoTRASSIR delegates plate recognition compute from low power recorders to NeuroStation and QuattroStation servers, keeping recognition accurate without upgrading every site.

Design consequence

Start with recording appliances at the branches, add one properly sized NeuroStation, and modules like Neuro Detector and Face Recognition can watch streams from across the estate.

Common questions

Before you size a server

When do we need a NeuroStation instead of an NVR?

Two triggers: channel count and analytics. The MiniNVR line stops at 16 channels; NeuroStation runs up to 160 cameras per server. Once neural modules watch many streams, the compute matters more than the channel count.

Which analytics modules need this class of hardware?

Neuro Detector runs on NeuroStation servers, and AutoTRASSIR offloads its recognition compute to NeuroStation and QuattroStation. Face Recognition and similar neural modules are sized into the same compute budget.

Does every site need its own analytics server?

No. With offload analytics, several TRASSIR servers send video to one for processing, so a single well sized NeuroStation can cover a whole branch network.

What actually decides the model we buy?

Channel count, per camera bitrate, retention days and analytics mix. Those four numbers set the ingest, the disks across the HDD bays and the compute headroom, and they are what our quotation math shows.

Who stands behind the hardware after commissioning?

Chasing Sun supplies from Nairobi stock under authorized distribution, with manufacturer warranty, genuine licensing activated at commissioning, SLA support and direct escalation to the vendor when needed.
