Advanced fingerprint and facial recognition for corporate, industrial and government facilities, with deployment options in the cloud or on premise.
Solutions
PINs are shared, cards are borrowed, passwords are written on sticky notes. Biometrics closes the gap between 'a credential was presented' and 'this person was here.' Chasing Sun supplies and integrates it, from fingerprint readers on a factory gate to rugged enrollment kits for field registration.
Where biometrics earns its keep
End buddy punching and ghost workers. Presence becomes a biometric fact.
Server rooms, vaults and labs guarded by who you are, not what you carry.
Registration workflows for banks, SACCOs, telcos and government programs.
Rugged mobile biometric terminals for registration work off the grid.
Partner hardware

Advanced fingerprint and facial recognition for corporate, industrial and government facilities, with deployment options in the cloud or on premise.

Industrial biometric terminals built to withstand harsh temperatures, dust, moisture and impact. Reliable in factories, construction sites and outdoor installations.

Fingerprint scanners and document readers with spoof detection powered by AI, for citizen ID, border control, banking and workforce applications.
How it works
A biometric system lives or dies on enrollment quality and integration, not the reader on the wall. This is the chain we build and commission.
| 01 · Enroll | A supervised capture at a quality terminal. Enrollment is the biggest predictor of reader performance for the life of the system, so we treat it as an engineering step, not an admin chore. |
|---|---|
| 02 · Template | The capture is converted into a mathematical template. Terminals match against templates, not stored photographs, and matching happens at the device in real time. |
| 03 · Distribute | Templates sync to every terminal and door where that person has rights, so a new hire works everywhere from day one and a leaver stops working everywhere at once. |
| 04 · Verify | At the reader, a live capture is matched against the template, with spoof detection rejecting photos and fakes on devices that support it. |
| 05 · Log | Every match and rejection becomes a timestamped event flowing into access control, attendance and HR systems, where it turns into doors, timesheets and audits. |
There is no single best credential, only a best credential per door, environment and risk tier. Most sites end up with a deliberate mix.
| Consideration | Fingerprint | Face | Card |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it proves | A live finger matches a stored template | A live face matches a stored template | Possession of the card, not the person |
| Strength | Mature, compact and proven for workforce use | Contactless and fast at high traffic doors | Cheap, instant to issue and familiar to staff |
| Watch for | Worn or dirty fingers in industrial work | Lighting and mounting position matter | Cards are lent, lost and cloned |
| Best fit | Offices, factories and clocking points | Busy entrances and hygiene conscious areas | Visitor workflows and lower risk doors |
| Pairing | Card fallback for hard environments | Second factor for high security rooms | Pair with a biometric on risk tier doors |
The integration story
We integrate biometric events into access control panels, attendance software and HR systems, plus TRASSIR VMS where useful, so a door event can be verified against video. For recognition by camera, see TRASSIR Face Recognition.
TRASSIR Face RecognitionHow we deliver
We walk your gates, doors and clocking points and note the environment each device must survive.
A device mix, integration plan and bill of materials you can audit, usually within 48 hours.
Devices mounted, enrollment run properly and integrations proven live before we call it done.
Your team learns the system on its own data, then engineering support continues from Nairobi.
Hardware comes through authorized distribution with manufacturer warranty, and support escalates directly to the vendor. Day to day you reach the same team that installed the system, 24/7 by phone or WhatsApp.
Questions we hear
Every deployment gets a fallback policy defined during commissioning: enrolling additional fingers, a second modality such as face or card, or a supervised override. Nobody stands locked out while a queue builds.
Terminals match against mathematical templates generated at enrollment, not against stored photographs. The template is what syncs between devices.
That is what the BioRugged line exists for: industrial terminals built for dust, heat, moisture and impact. Device choice per location is part of the site survey.
Yes, and it should. We integrate biometric events into access control panels, attendance software and HR systems, plus the TRASSIR VMS where video verification helps.
Genuine hardware through authorized distribution with manufacturer warranty, plus local engineering in Nairobi. You can reach us 24/7 by phone or on WhatsApp.
After the site survey, a system design and quotation usually comes back within 48 hours.
Tell us the environment: office, factory or field. We'll bring the right modality and the integration plan behind it.
