Core capabilities
Policy, enforced at the door
Zoned permissions
Rules per person, per door and per schedule. The cleaner's badge and the CFO's badge open different worlds.
Credential options
Biometric and card credentials, matched to each door's risk tier.
Instant revocation
A departed employee loses every door in one click, with no chase to recover keys.
Audit trail
Every event logged permanently and exportable for investigations and compliance.
How it works
The chain behind every controlled door
Five components decide whether a door opens, stays shut and gets remembered. We design, wire and commission the whole chain, because a weak link anywhere is a weak door.
| Credential | What the person presents: fingerprint, face or card, chosen per door by risk tier rather than one size for the whole building. |
|---|---|
| Reader | Mounted at the door, weather rated where exposed. It captures the credential and passes it on. By design, it decides nothing. |
| Controller | The policy engine on the secure side of the wall. It holds the rules and keeps deciding open or deny even when the network is down. |
| Lock & door hardware | Magnetic or strike locks, exit devices and door position sensing, with fail safe or fail secure behavior chosen per door and per fire escape route. |
| Event log | Every decision recorded centrally and permanently: exportable for investigations, audits and HR. |
Credential mix by door, not by building
A typical design tiers the doors. Here is the shape most sites converge on.
| Door | Typical credential | On power loss | Worth adding |
|---|---|---|---|
| Perimeter gate | Card or fingerprint | Stays locked, on backup power | Video verification of every event |
| Main entrance | Face or card, tuned for throughput | Chosen with fire safety first | A visitor workflow |
| Office zones | Card, biometric where sensitive | Fail safe on escape routes | Schedules per team |
| Server room | Biometric plus card or PIN | Fail secure, on backup power | A camera on the door, tied to the log |
Video verified access
Disputes end with a picture
Pair door events with TRASSIR cameras and every access event carries a face: the question is no longer whose badge it was, but who stood at the reader.

The details that decide whether it works in year three
Doors & readers
Reader choice per door: risk tier, weather exposure, traffic volume and fallback strategy.
Power & continuity
Backup power design so a power cut never leaves a door standing open, with fail safe or fail secure behavior chosen per door.
Software & integration
Permissions managed centrally, events flowing to HR, video and audit systems.
How we deliver
From door schedule to handover
01 · Site survey
We walk every door and gate, note construction, traffic and escape routes, and build the door schedule with you.
02 · Design & quotation
Credential mix, controller layout, wiring plan and a bill of materials you can audit, usually within 48 hours.
03 · Installation & commissioning
Locks, readers and controllers installed and every door tested against its policy, including power failure behavior.
04 · Training & support
Your administrators learn to manage permissions themselves, with local engineering behind them from Nairobi.
Hardware comes through authorized distribution with manufacturer warranty. After handover you keep one accountable partner: the team that designed the system answers for it, 24/7 by phone or WhatsApp.
Questions we hear
Access control, answered plainly
Can you extend a system we already have?
Often, yes. The site survey starts with what is already installed, and where doors, wiring or readers can be reused, we design around them.
What happens in a power cut?
Each door is designed for it: backup power where the door must keep working, and fail safe or fail secure chosen per door, so a blackout never leaves the wrong door open or an escape route shut.
Can one system cover several branches?
Yes. From a single server room door to whole campuses and multiple sites, with permissions managed centrally and events rolling up to one log.
How fast can we remove a departed employee?
In one action. Revocation removes every door at once, with no chase to recover keys or cards.
Do door events tie back to video?
They can and should. Paired with TRASSIR cameras, every access event carries a picture of who stood at the reader. That is how badge disputes end.
What warranty and support come with it?
Genuine equipment through authorized distribution with manufacturer warranty, plus local engineering support from Nairobi, reachable 24/7 by phone or on WhatsApp.
