What happens in the recognition lane
As a vehicle enters the field of view, AutoTRASSIR reads the plate, even from complex angles, and checks it against your vehicle groups: authorized fleets, residents, visitors, flagged plates. An authorized plate opens the barrier automatically; a flagged plate raises an instant alarm. Every pass is logged with plate number, snapshot and time, and any vehicle of interest can be tracked through the archive.
Because it lives inside TRASSIR VMS, the plate log, the alarm and the video evidence are one system, not three exports to reconcile.
What a deployment needs
- Lane geometry: camera angle, mounting height and lane width decide read quality, which is why we design the lane before we quote the software.
- Lighting: plates must stay readable at night, so the lane design covers illumination and headlight glare, not just the camera model.
- Compute: recognition runs on NeuroStation or QuattroStation class servers, and low power DVRs can delegate the processing through GPU offload.

Will it read our plate formats?
AutoTRASSIR reads plates from many countries, including foreign plates, and from complex angles. We confirm your exact plate formats during the demo, before you commit.
Does it work at night?
Yes, when the lane is designed for it. Night performance comes down to illumination and camera settings, which is why our design covers lighting rather than assuming the camera solves it.
What hardware does it need?
A properly placed camera per lane and TRASSIR server compute. Recognition can run on NeuroStation or QuattroStation servers, and GPU offload lets low power DVRs delegate the processing.
Can it open our barrier?
Yes. The module integrates with barriers and access control, so authorized vehicle groups are admitted automatically; it also connects to fire alarm and speed measurement systems.
What records do we get?
